Why buyers are switching agents in 2026

If you have used Chinese shopping agents for sneakers, streetwear or bags, the last two years rewrote the map. Pandabuy, for years the default recommendation across Reddit and TikTok, was raided by Chinese law enforcement in 2024 over trademark-enforcement claims; warehouses were searched, parcels were seized, and by late 2025 it had gone dark for new orders. CNFans, which absorbed much of the Pandabuy migration, stopped processing Weidian orders in early 2026 and let its content team go — the clearest possible signal that it is winding down. WegoBuy was caught in the same enforcement wave as Pandabuy and is now treated by the community as unsafe.

The important part, and the reason none of this has to ruin your hauls: the agents went down, not the sellers. Every Weidian, Taobao and 1688 product link from your old spreadsheets still works. An agent is only a middleman who buys on your behalf, stores the item in a China warehouse, takes QC photos, and forwards it internationally. Swap in a different active agent and the same links resolve to the same products at the same factory prices.
